In his second year of primary school, he began playing football at Nanling FC. He has played for Nagoya Grampus (2007-2010), VVV-Venlo (2010-2012), Southampton (2012-2020), and Sampdoria since then (2020-2022). He has represented his country, Japan, at both the youth and senior levels. He was a member of Japan’s U-23 team (2008-12).

Professional Career

Nagoya Grampus

  • In his second year of elementary school, Yoshida began playing football at Nanling FC.
  • He then joined the U-15 team.
  • Later, in order to be closer to Nagoya Grampus, he moved to Nagoya and attended Toyota High School.
