Japanese modern artist Takashi was born on February 1st, 1962. He has always loved manga and anime (both hand-drawn and computer-animated). He went to “Tokyo University Of Arts” to learn the drafting techniques required to become an animator, but ended up majoring in Nihonga (Japanese paintings from about 1900 onwards respectively). Murakami graduated from Tokyo University of Arts with a BA, MFA, and Ph.D.
