Chanathip Songkrasin is a Thai professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for the Japanese club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and the Thailand national team. In 2006, he began playing football for Sam Phran Wittaya School. In 2009, he joined Rajdamnerm Commercial College. In 2011, he joined the BEC Tero Sasana youth team and began his career there. On March 10, 2013, he made his senior team debut for the club. He joined Muangthong United on loan for the 2016 season on January 27, 2016. On 2 February 2016, he made his debut for the club in the AFC Champions League qualifier.

Later, he permanently joined Muangthong United for an unknown fee on 1 July 2016 and helped his side win the 2016 Thai League and 2016 Thai League Cup in his debut season. In the summer of 2017, he signed a season-and-a-half loan with newly promoted J.League side Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. He made his debut for the club in the 2017 J League Cup on July 26, 2017. With his outstanding performances, he signed a permanent deal with Consadole Sapporo on 13 July 2018, making him a regular Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo player as of 1 February 2019.

He has represented Thailand at various ages on the international stage. He has played for Thailand at the U19, U23, and senior levels. He was a member of Thailand’s U19 side that won the AFF U19 Youth Championship in Myanmar in 2011. On November 14, 2012, he made his international debut for Thailand. He was also a member of Thailand’s U23 squads that won the Sea Games in 2013 and 2015.
